The Pivot 180
In this Video Vault Aaron Kyro, from Braille Skateboarding, breaks down the Pivot 180 in an easy trick tutorial. This is a flat ground trick where the skater pops a 180 degree spin but pivots off the front wheels to turn around rather than turning in the air. Spinning the entire way in the air is more desirable and shows more skill. When skateboarders first learn how to 180 they usually start with this. After getting this trick on lock, skaters can learn to pop the entire 180 degree spin without pivoting. It is a good stepping stone and a fundamental part of learning proper 180s.
