The Hang Ten

In this Video Vault we check out the Hang Ten which is a type of manual trick. It is traditionally known as a surfing move where the surfer hangs all ten toes off of the nose of their longboard.  The reason why this skateboarding trick was named the “Hang Ten” is because the maneuver looks similar to the surfing version.  In this trick the skateboarder rides with both feet on the nose of their board while doing a nose manual.  In both surfing and skateboarding this trick looks incredibly stylish. It is held in high regard because of its high level of difficulty.  In skateboarding this is a freestyle/street trick and not many can do it. Put in many hours and you might just be one of the few who can!
