In 2008, the Ho Ho made its way to #1 on the Top 10 Worst Tricks in Skateboarding List published by Transworld Skateboarding. It is more than safe to say that this trick has a terrible reputation. The Ho Ho was “invented by Steve Schneer, this has to be one of the ugliest, worst tricks known to skateboarding. I still can’t figure out why anyone would want to do an invert with both hands down, then walk around on your hands with your skateboard dangling from both feet. One time, this kid named Bruce was doing a ho-ho and the board fell. Shat cut his finger off all the way past the white-meat, to the bone grizzle. As I said, dumb and dangerous trick.” Fast forward 10 years and the Ho Ho has made a pretty strong comeback in the young buck scene. Erick Winkowski was a huge part of the revival of the Ho Ho.
