Skateboard Video Vault: Flamingo

In this How-to-Skateboarding on Ride Channel, James Brockman shares the ins and outs of the Flamingo.  This trick has had a quirky reputation for many years but fits in perfectly with the current style of trendy skateboarding.  The flamingo has finally found its place in this era of dad hats and baggy pants.

Flamingos are most commonly learned on banks or quarter pipes and are no fun to do on flat ground. Expect to get a lot of shinners while learning this trick.  It may be worthwhile to invest in a pair of shinguards until you get the hang of doing it properly. Or you can land it first try and not have to worry about the bruises.
