The Boardslide
The Boardslide is a trick usually done in street skating on rails. The backside boardslide is usually the first rail trick that skateboarders learn. It is considered a beginner trick but also a very deadly trick. The most common way to fall is to land with the rail between your legs, this is called getting sacked on a rail. It’s a painful and scary way to learn. Many skaters avoid rails for this reason. Almost every skater who skates rails has experienced this incredible misfortune. If you’re one of the lucky ones who haven’t, more power to you. The frontside boardslide is more of an intermediate/advanced trick. It is common to fall backwards on this trick so watch out for that. When you land one clean it’s the best feeling in the world.
