The 540 Flip is a step further than a tre or 360 flip. The board spins a full circle and then another half circle for a total of 540°. During the spin the board does one kickflip before the skater lands back on the board. When the skater lands back on the board it will be backwards. 360 flips are pretty common nowadays but 540 flips are still pretty illusive. The 540 flip takes an extreme amount of effort and air time for the board to turn that extra 180°. When executed it looks like the skater flies their board into the air and somehow lands back on it. Few skaters make it look really controlled and perfect. Will you be one of them?!
